Welcome to RUSH Kids Pediatric Therapy. We are conveniently located within the White Eagle Center in the Lakeside Offices. We look forward to helping your child with their physical, occupational, speech, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy needs. Our highly-trained clinical team will design a specialized plan of care that is just right for your child.

Our Team

Michelle Olenek, MSOT, OTR/L, BCP

Michelle earned a bachelor's degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and master's degree in occupational therapy from Touro University Nevada. She is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Occupational Therapy Association. She brings fun and compassion to the patients she treats. She was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Michelle enjoys working with children of all ages to help them succeed in engaging with others and within their environments to the best of their abilities.

Richard Brenza, MSOT, OTR/L

Richard is a pediatric occupational therapist at RUSH Kids. He was born and raised in Homer Glen, Illinois as part of a large family. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and master's degree in occupational therapy from Stony Brook University. His enthusiasm and engaging nature helps build self-esteem and confidence in the children he works with. Richard enjoys serving the pediatric population by providing creative, evidence-based interventions that will improve function and provide them with the tools and skills needed to reach their highest level of independence.

Brittany Murphy, P.T., DPT

Brittany has worked out of our RUSH Kids Naperville South and North Aurora centers since January 2024. She was born and raised in central Illinois before moving to the western suburbs of Chicago to attend physical therapy school. Brittany enjoys working with children of all ages and is excited to meet you and your child!

Cassidy Knobloch, M.A., BCBA

Cassidy has been a board-certified behavior analyst at our South Naperville center since 2022. Cassidy has extensive experience with PECs and AAC devices. Cassidy also leads a child-lead and functional communication approach to applied behavior analysis. Cassidy also has experience in AIM, ACT, social thinking and trauma-informed approach.

Courtney Green, SLP

Courtney has been a speech-language pathologist at our RUSH Kids Naperville South clinic since spring 2023. She has experience working with neonates through geriatrics. She has clinical experience in the NICU, early intervention, acute care and elementary schools. Her master's thesis research focused on feeding approaches for premature infants with additional co-morbidities.

Saskia Wise, BCBA

Saskia joined our applied behavior analysis team at the Naperville South center in 2023. Prior to joining our team she has had over 12 years' experience working across a variety of settings in the field of behavior analysis, most recently in residential care. Her trauma informed approach aims to build skills necessary for growth while fostering individuality.

Carly McClernon, SLP

Carly has been a speech-language pathologist at our Naperville South center since June 2023. Additionally, she has experience working in the school setting (K-6th grade). She combines a high level of compassion and patience with her knowledge and experience in order to create an individualized therapy approach for each patient.

Jonathan Burdett, Jr., P.T., DPT

Jonathan was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago and has 5 years of experience working as a physical therapist in therapeutic preschools, private outpatient clinics and the early intervention system. Jonathan enjoys working with children of all ages and is excited to meet you and your child!

Kayla Millan , OTD, OTR/L

Kayla is an occupational therapist who graduated from Rush University with a doctorate in occupational therapy. She has experience working across the lifespan and with a wide variety of populations including autism, down syndrome and cerebral palsy. She uses a flexible, therapeutic use of self and her knowledge and experience to meet patients' needs and foster independence.
