Sanjiv Dhodapkar , P.T., DPT
Sanjiv is a physical therapist at our Elmhurst FFC center where he treats patients of all ages with a wide range of orthopedic and sports-related conditions.
He earned his doctorate in physical therapy from Ohio State University where he also achieved specializations in research and global health. In addition, Sanjiv completed a practicum with University of Louisville Athletics, utilizing 3D motion analysis to assess injury risk and develop individualized prehabilitation programs for athletes. He has experience working with athletes from the youth level through professional sports, combining exercise prescription, manual techniques, and injury management strategies to help patients safely return to the activities they love. Sanjiv is passionate about empowering his patients to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
Outside the center, Sanjiv remains active in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and long-distance running.
Brendan Jeremy Barnick, PTA
Jeremy is a physical therapist assistant who earned his associate degree from Harper College in 2021 and his bachelor's degree in athletic training from Northern Illinois University in 2017. Through therapeutic exercises and various techniques, he enjoys educating his patients on ways to improve their movement patterns, reduce their pain and increase their quality of life.
Lauren Remmes, P.T., DPT
Lauren is a physical therapist at our Elmhurst and Elmhurst FFC centers, where she treats patients with a wide range of orthopedic and sports-related conditions. She earned her doctorate in physical therapy from Creighton University, gaining experience across orthopedic, sports, neurologic, pediatric and aquatic therapy settings.
Lauren has a strong foundation in athletics, biomechanics, and injury prevention, which allows her to design individualized, evidence-based treatment programs that translate directly to functional movement and athletic performance. Her approach emphasizes restoring movement quality, improving strength and mobility and preparing patients for the physical demands of daily life and sport. She is committed to delivering personalized care that supports recovery, enhances performance and improves overall quality of life.

Hand Therapy

Pediatric Therapy
We offer multi-disciplinary pediatric therapy services – physical, occupational, speech and applied behavioral analysis (ABA) therapy – to help children reach developmental milestones and their full potential. Therapy methods are typically given in one-on-one sessions, using play-based activities to gain insight into how a child moves, thinks and expresses themselves. Small group therapy also can be helpful for some children to build social skills and communication. Additional specialized programs, such as feeding therapy, sensory/emotional regulation, toe-walking and torticollis, are also available at select locations. We are committed to providing an exceptional experience that enhances each child's participation in desired family, community and school activities.
