Our Team

Dave Hurley, P.T., DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT

Dave earned a bachelor's degree in physiology from Michigan State University in 2014 and his doctorate of physical therapy from Northwestern University in 2017. He became a board-certified orthopaedic clinical specialist in 2020 and recently received designation as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Therapists after completing his fellowship at Northwestern University in 2022. Dave has a passion for the treatment of chronic pain conditions and has completed further clinical training in dry needling and vestibular rehabilitation. Dave also specializes in concussion rehabilitation and is actively involved with ongoing concussion research. Dave enjoys working with athletes and a diverse patient population using evidence-based treatments to optimize movement and promote lasting health and wellness.

Rose Sherman, P.T., DPT

Rose is a physical therapist at RUSH Physical Therapy DePaul - Fullerton center. She has experience with a wide variety of diagnoses including: orthopedic, pediatric, neurological and sports medicine. She uses her superior knowledge of body mechanics and physiology to address sources of pain and dysfunction in her patients in order to optimize their mechanics and therefore their life. She played both soccer and tennis competitively, and loves working with athletes. Her therapeutic approach is analyzing movement and muscular dysfunction. She utilizes several different techniques to address muscular dysfunction to decrease pain and further facilitate optimal movement patterns. Rose cares deeply about her patients, and see's each individual and works with them to help her patients to address what matters to them most while creating a fun environment for their rehabilitation.

Gillian Toomey, M.S., OTR/L

Gillian is an occupational therapist who has shared time in both pediatric and adult outpatient centers since 2016. Gillian loves to bring creativity into her sessions and takes a holistic approach when addressing the goals of her patients. Gillian's experience has equipped her with the skills to treat patients with upper extremity conditions and deficits in coordination, sensory processing, visual perception and visual motor, emotional regulation and executive function skills. In addition to continuing education, Gillian has completed the company's hand therapy mentorship program and is preparing to take the certified hand therapy exam. She is pursuing a certification in orthopedic manual therapy. Gillian loves to spend time crafting and traveling with her husband and dogs.
