Our Team




Meredith Krifka, P.T., DPT, C/NDT, Center Manager
Meredith has been a member of RUSH Kids Pediatric Therapy since 2017, with five years of clinical experience. She has worked in outpatient pediatrics and in the home through early intervention. Meredith specializes in treating patients with neurological disorders such as cerebral palsy, Rett syndrome, down syndrome and epilepsy. Meredith is also the continuing education director of Chicagoland pediatrics, bringing continuing education courses that are meaningful and applicable to therapists in the market. Meredith completed her undergraduate education at the University of Illinois and doctorate of physical therapy from Northwestern University. She received certification in neuro-developmental treatment in 2019, has maintained it and continues to serve on the membership committee of the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association. She is a strong advocate for functional and meaningful goals that improve the participation and quality of life of the patient and their family.

Anna McFadden, M.S., BCBA, LABA, Assistant Center Manager
Anna is a behavior analyst who has worked in residential programs, intensive day programs and outpatient centers providing ABA therapy to babies, children, adolescents and young adults with autism. Her background in these diverse settings has allowed her to develop a unique and well-rounded set of skills. Anna's experience includes behavior assessment and intervention, functional communication training, skill acquisition, toilet training, parent education and staff training. Anna strives to deliver individualized, effective and compassionate therapy that leads to meaningful outcomes for children with autism and their families.

Gillian Toomey, M.S., OTR/L
Gillian is an occupational therapist who has shared time in both pediatric and adult outpatient centers since 2016. Gillian loves to bring creativity into her sessions and takes a holistic approach when addressing the goals of her patients. Gillian's experience has equipped her with the skills to treat patients with upper extremity conditions and deficits in coordination, sensory processing, visual perception and visual motor, emotional regulation and executive function skills. In addition to continuing education, Gillian has completed the company's hand therapy mentorship program and is preparing to take the certified hand therapy exam. She is pursuing a certification in orthopedic manual therapy. Gillian loves to spend time crafting and traveling with her husband and dogs.

Elena Sgarbossa, MOT, OTR/L
Elena has been a member of RUSH Kids Pediatric Therapy since 2022. She has experience in school-based and outpatient settings. She has worked with patients of all ages, including patients with developmental delays, sensory processing difficulties, impairments in fine/visual motor skills and autism spectrum disorder. Elena completed her undergraduate education and master's degree in occupational therapy at Saint Louis University.

Laura Duarte, MOT, OTR/L
Laura has been a member of RUSH Kids Pediatric Therapy since 2023. She is fluent in Spanish and English. She has experience in tele-therapy, school-based and outpatient settings. She has experience working with patients of all ages, including patients with autism spectrum disorder and deficits in sensory processing, fine motor and emotional regulation. Laura completed her undergraduate education at University of Illinois at Chicago and master's degree in occupational therapy at Lewis University.

Maggie Knoll, P.T., DPT
Maggie is a physical therapist whose priority is assisting your child in reaching their functional goals through unique and personalized play therapy. Maggie is a strong advocate for collaboration within a child's care team. She actively integrates goals from all other disciplines into her treatment plan. She has a strong interest in treating pediatric orthopedic conditions, as well as working with autistic children. Maggie takes a patient and family-centered approach toward treating children and assisting them in reaching their developmental goals.

Erica Norman, M.A., CCC-SLP
Erica has been a member of RUSH kids Pediatric Therapy since 2020. She specializes in treating apraxia of speech, pediatric language disorders and delay and working with patients with autism spectrum disorder. Erica completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with a double-major in Mandarin Chinese. She enjoys learning new languages to help both with treating a diverse patient population and traveling in her free time.

Sheree Wilichowski, M.S., CCC-SLP
Sheree has been a member of the team since 2021, with four years of clinical and school experience. She has experience working in schools with children of all ages. Sheree specializes in treating patients with articulation and phonological disorders, developmental language disorders and early language acquisition. She completed her undergraduate degree in Stevens Point, Wisconsin and master's degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Sheree enjoys reading books, taking long walks near Lake Michigan and traveling to Wisconsin to see friends and family.

Megan Blake, M.S., CCC-SLP
Megan received a master's degree in communication sciences and disorders from Governors State University. She has been with RUSH Kids since February 2021, with more than five years of experience. She has worked in early intervention and outpatient pediatric settings with a variety of diagnosis and ages. She has experience with children with early language development, articulation, phonology, language processing, AAC, social communication, apraxia of speech, autism spectrum and feeding difficulties. Megan enjoys working with kids of all levels and ability's and strives to bring a fun and energetic energy into each of her individualized sessions. She enjoys running, hiking and spending quality time with family and friends.

Lizzie Altman, M.A., BCBA
Lizzie is a Chicago-based BCBA with five years of experience. She is passionate about naturalistic teaching styles and fostering independence for all of her learners. Lizzie has experience with assessments and treatment plans, functional communication training, toilet training, and staff training. She loves getting to observe her learners growth in independence and confidence.

Allison Dennemann, B.T.
Allison has been a member of RUSH Kids since May 2022. She completed her undergraduate education at DePaul University with a degree in health science. Allison is set to pursue a doctorate of physical therapy at Northwestern University in 2023. She was born and raised in Indiana and moved to Chicago in 2020. Allison enjoys playing volleyball and reading in her free time.

Arielle Towsley, B.S., CCLS
Arielle has worked for RUSH Kids in their ABA program since February 2022. She is a certified child life specialist and has more than five years of experience working with children in the professional setting. Arielle completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Missouri. She is pursuing a nursing degree. Arielle enjoys spending time going to concerts, trying new restaurants and playing with her two dogs.

Grace Flowers, RBT
Grace brings a high level of enthusiasm to each patient she treats. She was born and raised in Illinois and attended the University of Iowa for her undergraduate degree. She is in a graduate program to receive her BCBA certification. Grace enjoys treating patients of any and all abilities while promoting a comforting, patient attitude. She has always had a passion for helping.
