Our Team

Therese (Tess) Hadick, M.A., CCC-SLP

Therese has been a member of RUSH Kids Pediatric Therapy since 2022. She has worked in the private practice and outpatient settings. Therese specializes in treating patients who have receptive and expressive language disorders and those who have speech sound disorders. She enjoys treatment sessions focusing on child-led, play-based activities and individualizing sessions toward each patient's interests for maximum engagement and participation. Therese completed her undergraduate education at Illinois State University and received a master's degree in speech-language pathology from Central Michigan University. She and her husband enjoy camping, hiking in National Parks and traveling in their free time.

Diana Vanstedum, MHS, CCC-SLP/L

Diana, who goes by Deanna, has been a member of RUSH Kids since 2022. She earned her bachelor's degree in communication disorders at Elmhurst University. She continued her education at Governors State University and earned her master's degree of health science in speech-language pathology. She has experience working in a school setting and pediatric setting, working with children from early childhood through high school age. She enjoys working in healthcare and working with children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, swimming, trying new restaurants, going to the movies, taking her dogs to the park and spending time with family and friends.

Alexa Wagner , M.S., CCC-SLP/L

Alexa started her career working with children birth to three through the state of Illinois' early intervention program. Alexa then transitioned to the hospital setting where she worked in pediatric and neonatal intensive care units, providing primarily feeding and swallowing intervention. Alexa has taken additional courses for the evaluation and treatment of pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders. Alexa enjoys working closely with patients and their families. Alexa enjoys being on the hiking trail.

Amanda Helbling, MPT

Amanda earned her master's of physical therapy from Saint Louis University and has been practicing since 2000. She has furthered her knowledge by taking numerous continuing education courses. Amanda enjoys treating children from birth to 21 years of age and is passionate about involving the family and making therapy fun. She specializes in torticollis, toe walking, developmental delays and concussions.

Ashley Joseph, OTD, OTR/L

Ashley has experience working with children across all ages and as a registered behavioral therapist implementing ABA therapy to children with autism. She combines a high level of compassion and calm presence grounded in the principles of mindfulness with her knowledge and experience as an OT and aims to create a welcoming, supportive, and beneficial experience for everyone who enters the center.

Steven Schoof, BCBA

Steve has been a board-certified behavioral analyst since 2018 and has experience working as a special education teacher in the public school system. Steve is highly effective in working collaboratively with parents, schools and other therapies to achieve meaningful outcomes. He believes in creating a learning environment that promotes growth and independence for each individual. To achieve this, Steve focuses on teaching, empowering, creating and listening to patients.

Teagan Ziegler, P.T.

Teagan has experience working with children of all ages from infants to high school age. She also works to incorporate her experience coaching recreational and high school gymnastics and Special Olympics figure skating into her treatments in the clinic. She loves working with kids with torticollis, toe-walkers, orthopedic/sports injuries or any kids who need help developing gross motor skills. She has a passion helping kids connect their brains to their bodies to learn new skills and gain confidence and independence.
