Welcome to RUSH Kids Pediatric Therapy. We look forward to helping your child with their physical, occupational, speech and applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy needs. Our highly trained team will design a specialized plan of care that is just right for your child. Through experience, advanced clinical training and clear communication with our patients and their parents, our therapy team will assist your child in achieving their highest potential by reaching their developmental milestones for school, activity and life.

Our Naperville North center offers specialized programs including feeding programs, sensory/emotional regulation treatments, toe-walking programs, torticollis interventions, and social-language groups. Learn more about our specialized services here.

We are also pleased to offer patients access to our specialized CoreVia Pelvic Health program. CoreVia provides care - and relief - to men, women and children who experience pelvic floor dysfunction. Our highly skilled pelvic health physical therapists will help you feel your best.

We are located conveniently off interstate 88 serving patients from: Central Naperville, Aurora, North Naperville, Lisle, Wheaton, Woodridge, and Downer's Grove. Our Team

Gina Sementa, P.T., DPT

Gina earned her bachelor's degree in biology, minor in chemistry and doctorate of physical therapy degree from Briar Cliff University. Prior to entering the world of pediatrics, Gina practiced as a spinal specialist. Gina has obtained a specialty certification in pediatric dysfunctional voiding. Gina enjoys treating patients of all kinds, but loves pediatric therapy and bowel and bladder treatment. Gina has a passion for promoting health and wellness to optimize the early years of life.

Addy Garlick, OTD, OTR/L

Addy earned her bachelor's degree in vocational rehabilitation - disability sciences from the University of Wisconsin - Stout, followed by her doctorate of occupational therapy from Creighton University. She has a special interest in social skills development and emotional regulation in children and adolescents, and has experience working in the school setting as well as early intervention. Addy has a passion for promoting the highest level of independence for all patients through a client-centered approach. Addy's calm and nurturing demeanor helps build self-esteem and confidence in the children she works with.

Lauren Cornell, M.S., CCC-SLP

Lauren earned her bachelor's degree in communication disorders followed by her master's degree in communication disorders from California University of Pennsylvania. Lauren has treated children aged 0-21 in several settings including: Early Intervention, autism day schools, and the clinic setting. Lauren has high interests in feeding therapy, myofunctional-orofacial therapy, autism, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Outside of work Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, fitness, houseplants and Pittsburgh sports.

Danielle Haehn, M.S., CF-SLP

Danielle earned her bachelor's degree communication science and disorders from Elmhurst College followed by her master's degree in speech language pathology from Lewis University. She is passionate about working with the pediatric population and providing education related to speech and language disorder areas including articulation, phonology, fluency, expressive/receptive language, feeding and swallowing. Danielle values seeing each child as a whole, and collaborates with families to encompass a total communication approach to therapy. She encourages parents to ask questions and be involved in their child's speech therapy program in order to maximize progress and carryover. Danielle brings high energy and knowledge to treatment sessions making therapy fun and engaging for her patients while targeting their goals. She and her husband have one young son and enjoy being outdoors in their free time.

Vanessa Ortiz, M.S., CF-SLP

Vanessa earned her master's degree in speech-language pathology from Lewis University. Vanessa gained a unique range of clinical experiences through various service modalities. Through her tele-practice experience, Vanessa applied telecommunication technology to deliver speech and language services to children with mild to severe communication needs. Vanessa also has experience working within the school-based setting serving K-12 students with mild to severe communication needs. Vanessa is interested in bilingual service delivery, AAC and articulation or language therapy. Vanessa values the importance of connecting with families and the students that she serves. As a former bilingual parent-child educator, she comprehends how critical it is to work in collaboration with caregivers to enhance their child's development.

Ann Bednar, M.S., BCBA

Ann earned her bachelor's degree in psychology followed by her master's in psychology with an emphasis in applied behavior analysis (ABA). She has worked in the field of ABA since 2016, starting as a registered behavior technician while completing her undergraduate and graduate work. Ann has experience using ABA to treat patients from ages 2-18 in both the home and clinic setting. She has created programs centered for early intervention, toilet training, language acquisition, social skills, emotional regulation and executive functioning. Ann is passionate about bridging the gap between private therapy and school supports, encouraging collaboration to create a unified team for the child. She has rapport with many teachers and professionals within the Naperville districts. Ann spends her weekends trying to enjoy the unpredictable Midwest weather with her husband and rescue pup.
