Success Stories

Finley

As a baby, Finley wouldn't make many sounds and his parents knew something was amiss. At age two, Finley began early intervention with a communication device. Soon after, he was diagnosed with autism and apraxia of speech. After completing early intervention, Finley's parents chose to continue his rehabilitation with RUSH Kids Pediatric Therapy for the past three years. Finley's mother Jenna shares, "When Finley first started at RUSH Kids, he only had a few words that he would say. His vocabulary has expanded so much." Finley has been meeting goals and milestones in speech, occupational and physical therapy. His therapy team includes Marissa Groom, speech-language pathologist, Dana Ewert, occupational therapist, and Deanna Bailey, physical therapist. "His therapists have been amazing with Finley. He enjoys coming to therapy each week. He is more confident in his own life and at school," Jenna shared. Thank you for trusting us with Finley's care!
